Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina

This RV resort park is located in southern California at the beach and near to the Back Bay Nature Preserve and Newport Bay Conservancy.  It is a very large park with 382 RV sites and 24 cottages. What is not to love? There is over a mile of beachfront, a playground, a waterpark, and swimming. Visitors are able to rent paddleboats, kayaks, or electric boats. Or, bring your own boat to launch on the boat ramp. There is a surrey for rent and a restaurant. Many plan to hold their weddings in this venue, and there are daily sunsets to savor at your leisure. 

In terms of park stay amenities, the resort will meet your camping needs. There is a pool, spa, marketplace, and laundry. Bikes and golf carts are available for rent. In addition to the full amenities for RVs, you may also do tent camping. The park now allows group tent camping on the beach. Disneyland is just a few miles away. Beach cottages are for rent and face the lagoon. They include kitchenettes, a bath, and bedding, however, they do not allow dogs in the cottages. Check the website for rates for camping or a cottage stay, as they vary based on the accommodations and length of your stay.  Don't forget your sunscreen and sunglasses for your stay and play in the sun! 

Pets are to be on a leash at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Your dog must never be left unattended or left outside at night. Dogs must have vaccinations and they must be licensed. Poop bags are located at the promenade area. You are required to pick up after your dog at all times. By California law, you are liable for any injuries that occur. The park retains the discretion to remove any animals they perceive to be aggressive.
