Description

Old Orchard Beach Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located in the welcoming town of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The campground is as charming as it sounds, consisting of 108 acres of diverse, green terrain and featuring countless amenities for visitors to enjoy. The pet and big rig-friendly campground offers primitive tent camping, deluxe RV sites, and park model sites. It's pawfect for a family getaway and a great location for casual campers.

The Old Orchard Beach Campground is split into several camping sections: Tall Pines, The Grove, Black Forest, and Bear Brook RV sites -- all of which can be reached by gravel or paved roads. Some areas are wooded, heavily shaded, and ideal for tent camping, while others are easily accessible and offer partial or full-service sites for RV campers. The seasonal Tall Pines area is great for long-term stays, while the Grove offers full-service hookups, cable TV, and wifi.

The wooded Black Forest section offers both tent and RV sites, while Bear Brook is the most central loop that features 36 sites with full hookups, cable TV, wifi, picnic tables, and fire rings. Clean restrooms with hot showers and flushing toilets, laundry facilities, and a dump station are available at the campground. Rates start at around $35 per night but vary depending on camping type, section, season, and duration of stay.

The campground offers plenty of activities on-site for patrons to participate in, from classics such as roasting marshmallows over the fire and enjoying a game of cornhole to relaxing in the heated swimming pool, breaking a sweat playing basketball, and hiking the nearby trails. There is also a playground, a recreational hall, and a store on-site.

Located just a mile away from the beach, the campground offers easy access to water activities, too. Enjoy a sandy 7-mile stroll with your canine companion or dip your toes in the water as you build sand castles with your kids. Not feeling active? Sit back and relax as the shuttle takes you down to the beach. Other nearby attractions include miniature golf, the historic Old Port, and numerous restaurants in Old Orchard.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
