Description

Paradise Cove Campground, true to its name, is a slice of paradise in northern California’s Sequoia National Forest, a vast expanse that is known for its picturesque natural features that totals over 1 million acres. The campground is a favorite of both locals and visitors for its great scenery and the wealth of activities that are available in the area. If you’re planning your next California camping trip, then you’ve found the right spot. Best of all, the campground is dog-friendly, so you can bring your canine companion along too!

Paradise Cove Campground is relatively large; it is made up of two sections with a total of 46 campsites. It boasts a number of features that enhance the experience of campers who stay there: campfire rings, drinking water, a dump station, and flush toilets are some of the amenities you can find there. There are also plenty of ways to pass the time at Paradise Cove. The campground rests adjacent to Lake Isabella, an 11,000-acre reservoir that serves as a popular location for boating, fishing, swimming, and windsurfing. You can also head to Sequoia National Forest for some amazing hiking with your dog. Whatever you choose to do when you’re at Paradise Cove, you really can’t go wrong.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind throughout your stay at this campground. Remember that each campsite can accommodate a maximum of six people, and that the nightly fee for a single site is $28 (this is increased to $30 for holiday weekends). Also remember that this area can become excessively hot during the summer months, so make sure you take the appropriate safety precautions.

Paradise Cove is a great place where you can escape the daily grind and camp out on the beautiful Lake Isabella Reservoir — you and your dog are sure to love it!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
