Pass Creek Campground

Pass Creek Campground is located in Tahoe National Forest in California. Your campsite will sit right on the Jackson Meadow Reservoir, making for a stunning and peaceful camping location that you are going to love. Peak season runs from May to October every year, so you can expect to see the most people around during this time. The usage of the campground is considered heavy, so make sure you do not mind camping around a lot of people if you decide to come here for a trip. 

The campground sits in a forested valley with heaps of rolling hills that you can stare at for hours at a time. There is plenty of shade from the trees in the forest, but also some areas with lots of sun, as well. You will have views of the Siery Crest and English Mountain over the blue reservoir from the sites. 

You will also find a lot of recreational activities in the area that will keep you and your dog busy on your camping trip. Boating, fishing, hunting, and hiking are the most popular things to do in the area. Water skiing on the lake is another favorite pastime if you want to try your hand at something a bit more adventurous. You will also have access to the Pacific Crest Trails that runs along the water you can get to right from the campground. 

Amenities at the campsite include a picnic table and campfire ring at each lot. There are vault toilets and fresh drinking water at the site as well. A dump station, grills, host, and paved parking spurs are available. You will not find any showers at this location, but you can cool off and clean off in the reservoir! Of course, dogs are welcome but they must wear their leash at all times and you must clean up after your dog when they go to the bathroom.
