Description

Pines Point Campground is an awesome location where you can enjoy lakeside camping in western Michigan. The campground sits beside the White River and offers campers well-kept facilities and access to some of the state’s best outdoor recreation sites. Pines Point Campground also welcomes furry paws, so you and your dog can camp out and spend time together enjoying all of the area’s great features!

Whether you want to bring your whole crew or just spend time hanging out with your dog, the campground has everything you need for a pleasant camping trip. There are 27 single sites and 5 group sites at the campground. The nightly fee for a single site is $16, and the nightly fee for a group site is $66. The group sites can accommodate up to 20 people, and all sites come with a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. You'll also have access to drinking water on the premises, but no electric hookups.

There are lots of things to do around the campground — the neighboring river is a great spot for trout and salmon fishing in addition to being a furrific destination for canoeing and kayaking. Hound-dog hikers will enjoy the numerous trails in the area; one of the most popular is Branstrom Park Area Trail. This dog-friendly loop trail covers just under two miles and has an elevation gain of only 154 feet. It winds along small, rolling hills, and patches of wildflowers and deer are common sights along the way. Just make sure your woofer stays on-leash while sniffing along this trail!

Use caution if you're planning to use GPS to reach the campground. Some guests note that their GPS system routed them to the wrong location down a muddy road, which isn't ideal especially if you're traveling in an RV.

Please remember to clean up after your pooch to keep Pines Point Campground pet-friendly. Also, respect the campground’s on-leash policy for dogs not just out of courtesy for other campers, but for your own safety as well.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
