Pioneer RV Park

Self-described as northern California RV camping at its finest, the Pioneer RV park in Quincy, California offers you and your pooch all the amenities you could want in a beautiful forested, mountainous setting. Close to several natural attractions, including scenic lakes and national parks, this is the perfect place to set up camp if you're invested in some California hiking, gold-panning, whitewater rafting, fishing, off-roading, biking, horseback riding, or even snowmobiling and skiing in the winter!  It also doesn't hurt to simply set up camp and enjoy the beautiful views -- this campground has an elevation of 3,500 feet, so you'll enjoy sweeping vistas of the surroundings.

Your doggo is welcome to join you, of course. Just make sure to keep your four-legged friend on their leash at all times and ensure they're well-mannered. Make sure you take advantage of the on-site dog wash while you're there! Before you and your pup make your reservation, though, it also might be wise to call in about their restricted breeds list to make sure your pup can join the adventure without a problem! 

Have a little extra time and want to drive off for more adventure? You're just a short drive away from beautiful Lake Tahoe, and only about 70 miles away from Reno, Nevada if you're after a little urban comfort. 

The campground itself doesn't skimp on amenities, either. With tons of available space -- not to mention 30 and 50 amp, big-rig pull thru sites available -- this campground can accommodate just about any setup. There are about 6.5 acres of campground for you to explore! Keep an eye out for the clubhouse meeting room, the laundry facilities, horseshoe pits, and book exchange library. They also have a super unique feature -- an electric car charging station!
