Description

Pioneer Trail Campground is a charming group campground located in northern California. It rests within Stanislaus National Forest, a giant forest encompassing nearly 900,000 acres in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This campground is the perfect destination for anyone who wants to escape the commotion of the city and strike out into nature to enjoy scenic views, fresh air, and peace of mind. One of the campgroundā€™s best features is that it welcomes furry paws, so you can bring your dog along with you for a fantastic camping trip!

Pioneer Trail Campground has modest but well-maintained facilities, so you can be sure that your stay will be safe and relaxed. There are three campsites: two of the sites can accommodate up to 50 campers, and the other, larger site can accommodate up to 100 people. The campground features picnic tables and fire pits at each site. Ā The sites are all surrounded by scenic woodlands, and the campground is located near outdoor activities which are a perfect way to explore the area and have some fun! Some of the most popular activities can be found at Pinecrest Lake nearby. It is the perfect spot for swimming or fishing, and you can even hike the Pinecrest Lake National Recreation Trail, a peaceful, four-mile trail that loops around the lake.

To get the most out of your stay at Pioneer Trail Campground, you should be aware of a few things. Dogs are allowed, but they cannot enter the campgroundā€™s day-use area. Also, the nightly fee for the 50-person campsites is $90, but the fee for the larger site is $130. Note that there are no RV hookups or electricity at the campground.

You and your furry friend will have a blast at Pioneer Trail Campground, and you will definitely enjoy its many great features and beautiful location in Stanislaus National Forest!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
