Rancho Jurupa Regional Park - Cottonwood Campground

If you’re looking a furrific place to camp with your dog, Cottonwood Campground is perfect for you. This RV-only campground has 58 sites that all have electrical, sewer, and water hook-ups. Dogs are welcome to join you in Cottonwood on leashes that are six feet or shorter, and the daily fee for this fun-filled campground is $45.00.

While you’re at Cottonwood, you’ll find plenty of great things to do with your dog. If you and your pup want to go hiking together, the Santa Ana River Trail runs through Cottonwood Campground. This riverside path is 50 miles in total, and it goes from Huntington Beach to San Bernardino.

If you’re looking for another pawesome place to hike, Mount Rubidoux Trail is just about 1.5 miles away from Cottonwood Campground. This 2.7-mile loop trail takes you up Mount Rubidoux and has an elevation gain of 393 feet. From the top of the trail, you’ll get stunning views of Riverside and the Santa Ana River.

After you’ve finished with your day’s adventures, you can relax and enjoy Cottonwood’s many amenities. Cottonwood offers coin-operated washing machines and showers, and wifi is also available in the campground. Cottonwood is also just a short walk from Rancho Jurupa Regional Park’s two lakes, where you can try your luck fishing for trout.
