Rock Cut RV Park and Campground

You can explore these trails with your pooch as both the National Forest and campground are pet-friendly. When walking the trails, prevent your dog from disrupting the wildlife around by having them under control with no excessive barking.

The forest is home to lots of wildlife, so be on the lookout during your hikes. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of a deer (both mule and whitetail), mountain goats, elk, or bighorn sheep. The forest is also home to black bears, so be sure to exercise precaution during your walk and when storing food back at your campsite. Rare sightings of lynx and grizzly bears have also been reported.

Other outdoor activities include horseback riding, non-motorized boating, fishing, and backpacking. Hunting is offered in the area and is a guest favorite. You can book the clubhouse for day use and take advantage of the storage offered at the campground.
