This resort is owned by a family who is never too far away, and they're sure to make you feel like you're at home while you're with them. The best part is they love dogs, so your pup can expect some pets! Park the RV or rent an on-site cabin here; rates start at $48 per night.

At this resort, you certainly won't find yourself bored! Go ahead and do the doggy-paddle in the pool (but keep the dog out of the pool, please!). Another pawfect way to spend your day is to rent a canoe and explore the lake. There's a recreational hall on-site, and the resort frequently has planned activities that are fun for the whole family. If you forget something at home, don't panic! There's a general store located at the resort. You and your canine feeling a little cooped up? You'll be happy to know you're just a bone's throw away from muttropolitan areas like Hendersonville and Asheville!

The trip wouldn't be nearly as pawesome if Fido wasn't with you, so make sure to bring them along! It's important to know that your dog is able to join you only at the RV sites; absolutely no animals are allowed in the cabins. Your dog must stay on their leash at all times while in the park, and even though no one wants to do it, you're responsible for cleaning up after your dog. Unfortunately, the park does have breed restrictions based on breeds the park deems aggressive. You can contact the resort directly for details.

One thing guests seem to complain about is the online booking process; some recommend contacting the park directly rather than using the company's website. Calling also allows you to apply possible discounts.
