Shady Lane RV Camp

Look no further than Shady Lane RV Camp, located just off the I-10 and Old Hwy 58. This old-school travel destination has been around since the 1970s and offers well-kept, comfortable accommodations for anyone traveling through the area. 

The park has about 35 total spaces, which are a combination of pull-through and back-in spaces. Choose from 30-amp or 50-amp, and enjoy amenities like picnic tables, wifi, and cable, plus full hookups. There is also a dump station on-site and laundry facilities if you need them. Most of the sites are gravel, and you can enjoy some shade throughout the park. Tent spaces are also allowed if you’d pre-fur to take the rustic route. A quaint, cozy mom-and-pop-style RV park, Shady Lane is the pawfect place for a quick overnight stay while passing through Barstow. 

Guests can also take advantage of the on-site restrooms and shower facilities, all included in the nightly rate of around $40 per night. Rates may vary depending on your accommodation, as well as any discounts that you might be eligible for. Despite only having the bare minimum as far as cool amenities go, Shady Lane happens to be in close proximity to plenty of fun outdoor adventures you can explore with your pup. Check out the Rainbow Basin Natural Area, for example, which has plenty of marked and unmarked trails to follow with Fido. Or, try the Mojave National Desert, which happily welcomes pets on leashes no longer than six feet.
