Silver Creek's sparkling stream flows through the southern part of the campground, and this creek brings campers and visitors beautiful sights, sounds, and swimming spots. There's a kitchen area with a picnic table and group fire pit on-site so you can have plenty of flavorsome family feasts, but there's no water available at the campsite, so remember to stock up before taking your trip or ensure you boil the creek water before use! There are lots of bears to be found in this area, so when you're not nibbling on those tasty treats, ensure you lock them up in the bear boxes provided to avoid attracting any unwanted grizzly guests! 

Silver Creek Group Campground can be found perched by Eldorado National Forest, which provides endless oppawtunities for exciting outdoor escapades! The hike to Bassi Falls is full of vibrant wildflowers and lets barking besties come off their leash as long as they're under your control. The Desolation Wilderness is a haven for hike-loving humans and hounds alike, and is a stunning spot for wondrous walkies with plenty of chances for Fido to go doggy paddling! Ice House Reservoir is located nearby too and is a mutts-visit for any fun-loving family! Here, you can launch a boat or canoe out onto the clear waters, enjoy a cooling swim, or try to stay upright as you wade through waves on your water-skis!
