Description

Located in a beautiful North Carolina valley, Smoky Mountain Meadows Campground is a peaceful location, perfect for you to escape the business of everyday life. This campground comes equipped with sites that will satisfy all types of campers while providing access to a variety of amenities and outdoor activities. The campsite's location right beside East Alarka Creek gives campers the chance to enjoy the water while getting back to nature.

The campground has sites for RVs, tents, pop-ups, and for those looking for a more luxurious experience, there are also cabin rentals. RV sites come with both water and electric hookups with both 30 and 50 amps available. Tent sites and pop-up sites also have both water and electric. Fortunately, almost all tent sites are situated right on the creek, giving guests unforgettable views of the water. All sites have fire-rings and picnic tables for you to enjoy, with ice and wood sold right inside the campground for convenience. If you're looking for a larger site for group camping, there is one available.

Your pooch is welcome to accompany you to Smoky Mountain, but you are asked to keep them on a leash at all times when off your campsite. You're also expected to bring poop bags for cleaning up any waste. Pets are not permitted in buildings, but they are allowed in the creek!

When at Smoky Mountain Meadow Campground, there are a variety of amenities and activities to enjoy. Some modern perks include WIFI offered throughout the campground as well as showers, laundry, and flush toilets available. Recreational activities for you to enjoy include basketball, a horseshoe pit, volleyball, a playground with a swing-set, and the creek.

Within minutes of the campground you will find The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, as well as other opportunities for outdoor fun. Deep Creek offers tubing, and there's white water rafting on the Nantahala River. Without a doubt, the Smoky Mountain Meadow Campground's central location and generous amenities make it an ideal camping location.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
