Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground

 Situated right on the Sol Duc River in the Olympic National Park is Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground. This campground is a unique find because not only can you enjoy the scenic outdoors as you camp within the mountains, but you can also relax in one of the many hot springs located within the grounds. There is an entrance fee to the national park that all campers must pay. This fee is either $15 per person without a vehicle or $30 for one vehicle/family.

This campground is pet-friendly and allows both tent campers and RV enthusiasts to bring up to two dogs per site. While staying within the campground, you are asked to keep your pooch on a leash at all times. The leash you use can't be longer than six feet. Remember to always tidy up after your pooch to keep the campgrounds clean. Garbage bins are scattered throughout the campground and can be used at your own convenience.  Olympic National Park also permits dogs, so it's an excellent place for the two of you to take a hike. 

At Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort, you won't be disappointed in the accommodations available. There are sites for tent campers as well as RVs, ranging from rustic to having all hookups (water, electric, and sewage). All sites come with a fire ring, picnic table, and animal-proof trash can. This is to prevent unwanted interactions with animals such as bears, cougars, and raccoons, which can all be found in the national park. 

At Sol Duc River, you’ll always find something to do.  There are 3 hot mineral spring pools located throughout the campground that campers can access in addition to a pool. There is an additional fee for entering the pool and hot springs on top of the camping fee paid for the site and the entrance fee to the park. In addition to swimming, you can also enjoy hiking, horseback riding, or various sports offered at the campground. There is a front desk where you can purchase both ice and firewood, as well as a poolside deli and massage services.
