Vacation in a paradise where the ocean meets the forest at Sounds of the Sea RV Park & Cabins. With full hook-up sites and comfortable cabins welcoming you and your furry travel companions, this functional yet straightforward RV park is the pawfect place to rest your head at night. No matter if you are planning to pass through or are hoping to enjoy a few days in the Bay Area, Sounds of the Sea welcomes you to stay for the just the night or long-term.
Premium ocean-view sites have private fire rings, and some of these spaces can accommodate groups. These lots will cost you a little more per night than the average pull-through site, but at $55, it’s still affordable for traveling pet parents. There is also a $5 up-charge for upgrading to 50-amps, as well as $3 for every pet past the first two, which are welcome at no additional cost. If you’re looking to ditch the RV or are merely traveling through with just your vehicle, you can reserve a pet-friendly cabin instead, starting at $200 per night. Or, ask for a tent space, which will only set you back you $20 a night.Â
The real beauty of Sounds of the Sea comes from the surrounding nature. Guests can access the adjacent beach via an entrance in Patrick’s Point State Park, although you won’t be able to bring Fido along as they are not allowed within the park’s beaches or trails. You can stop in at the day-use site, however, for a quick BBQ or picnic!Â
Like the Redwood National Parks, Trinidad is home to plenty of natural wonders. You can also go off and explore gems like the nearby lagoons and tide pools throughout the rest of Humboldt County. Sounds of the Sea RV Park & Cabins is surrounded by plenty of Redwood forests, as is typical of the Bay Area. Enjoy the wonders of nature with your precious pup in tow!Â
