Summer Breeze Campground & RV Park

Summer Breeze Campground and RV Park is located on the northwest side of Michigan's Iron Mountain. This dog-friendly campground offers you access to the great outdoors while simultaneously providing you with amenities that are sure to add comfort to your stay.

Summer Breeze can accommodate any kind of camper. For starters, the rate for primitive tenting is only $20 per night. The tenting field is separated from the RV and cabin area, giving you an authentic outdoor experience. RV sites are perfect for any camping vehicle, including pop-up trailers, fifth-wheels, and larger rigs. Sites with only electricity and water are available, in addition to fully loaded sites that come with sewage. All campsites, including tent sites, come equipped with a picnic table and fire ring for you to use at your own convenience, and they’re grassy and spacious for your comfort. Cabin rentals are also available but aren’t dog-friendly.

You and you're pooch can enjoy spending time at the campground, as long as you follow a few rules. These include cleaning up after your pup, keeping them on a leash at all times, and never leaving them unattended. Guests are reminded that dogs are not to be tied to trees or cause destruction within the campground. You're more than welcome to explore the grounds with your pooch and take advantage of the hiking trail that’s over a quarter of a mile long!

Other activities you can entertain yourself with while camping include basketball, tetherball, or volleyball. Horseshoe pits and corn hole games are other guest favorites that you'll find at Summer Breeze. There’s also a heated swimming pool, playground, book exchange, and movie borrowing. Not to mention the site is stocked with amenities such as free, hot showers and a store where you can find groceries and other camping supplies including ice and wood.
