Sunset Point Campground At Harrington

Sunset Point Campground at Harrington is a secluded, pet-friendly campground located in Harrington, Maine. The campground is nestled away among mature trees that cast plenty of shade and add on to the charming, country setting. Since the campground sits on the tidal shores of the Atlantic Ocean, it offers spectacular island views and proximity to the water for visitors to enjoy. The seven-acre campground consists of 30 sites for tent and RV camping, all of which overlook the scenic coast. There are 21 sites with water, sewer, and electric (20, 30 and 50 amp) hookups and nine tent sites for primitive camping. All of the sites are level and spacious with plenty of room for bigger rigs of up to 65 feet. There are several pull-through sites and a few back-ins which makes settling in even easier. Each grassy site comes with a sheltered picnic table, a fire ring with a grill top, and a trash can which helps keep the campground clean and well-maintained. What can be better than eating breakfast outdoors and watching the sunrise? Kayaking towards it! The campground’s location offers hassle-free kayak and canoe rentals as well as dock and water access. If that wasn’t enough, the campground’s incredibly kind hosts sell fresh lobster that can be grilled and delivered right to your site! Sites prices start at $28 per night. 

The campground features a well-stocked bathhouse with hot showers and flushing toilets, as well as a laundry facility. There is a playground to keep the little ones entertained, a book swap library, and DVD rentals available on-site. Dog owners will be happy to find mowed grassy areas for dog walking at the campground, as well as a shoreline path with strategically placed benches for sunset views and easy trails nearby.
