Sycamore Grove (Red Bluff) Campground

All campers are welcome at Sycamore Grove, where fun of all sorts is waiting in the woods! No matter what outdoor activity you and your pooch are into, this space has you covered. Don't expect anything too swanky, though. This is a true camping ground.

There are just under 30 sites, many of which are pull-through and can nicely accommodate a big rig. Tenters will also feel comfortable here, as many of the guests choose a fabric home as their dwelling of choice. Each site comes with its own campfire ring and grill for your cooking (or marshmallow roasting) convenience. Drinking water taps are located around the grounds. There is no dump on-site, so you'll have to store your garbage in your vehicle until you can properly dispose of it to avoid critters. Campers should also note that there is a gate here that closes overnight from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, so you'll have to contact the host if you need to exit or enter during those hours.

Visitors love the easy access to the Sacremento River, with a boat ramp leading to all of the fun water sports you can handle. Swimming is allowed, but there are no designated areas for the activity, so exercise caution. Anglers will be happy to hear that fishing is allowed here. Nearby, you'll find Black Butte Lake for even more aqua adventures!

Sycamore Grove also provides many land activities, including mountain biking, hiking, horseshoes, and a visitors center to explore. 

You'll be thrilled to know that Fido is more than welcome at this campground. As there are many other campers, you'll want to keep control of your pet, and it's best to enquire of their leash rules before assuming that letting your pupper run free is allowed. As always, please have poop bags with you at all times so you can clean up after your pooch does their business.
