The Oasis Campground

The Oasis Campground is located in Clearlake Oaks, California. It sits right on the corner of Clear Lake, and all of the campsites are waterfront, so peaceful and relaxing views abound in the park. The beautiful location makes it a favorite place to camp all year long. On the weekends and during Derby events, the campground is generally full but other than those times, you are likely to find a spot without a reservation. Peak season runs from April to October. 

Guests have fantastic views of Mt Konocti just across the lake. You will also have access to a sandy beach on the lake, a boat launch, showers, bathrooms with flushing toilets, fishing in the lake, fish-cleaning stations, firewood, and so much more. All campsites come with their own picnic table and fire ring as well. Many of the sites are nicely shaded by beautiful willows and other trees. 

In the area, you will also find many other lakes, places to hike on trails, vineyards, wineries, hot springs, and geysers. Dogs are more than welcome at the campground, but they must wear their leash at all times to keep the other campers and dogs at the site safe. Always remember to bring poop bags and clean up after your dog. You can discard the bags in the trash cans around the site or in the bathrooms as well. Only friendly and non-aggressive dogs are allowed at the campground. Dogs that bark excessively will also be asked to leave the campground if it becomes a problem for other guests. Make sure your dog has fresh water and a cool, shady place to sleep so they do not overheat.
