The Redwoods RV Resort

The Redwoods RV Resort, located in Crescent City, California, is the perfect spot to go camping. Don't let the name fool you, though; this resort isn't just for RVs. There are also several spots available for tent camping, or if you really feel like splurging, there are cabins available for rent. Rates for tent sites start at $30 during the off-season, but keep in mind that prices increase during peak seasons. 

Like most RV resorts, Redwoods has top-notch shower and bathroom facilities. They also have a laundry facility you can use; just make sure you bring along some change, as those services aren't free. If you somehow find yourself bored, there are game sites located around the campground -- horseshoes is a pupular choice!

Your canine companion is allowed to join you on your camping excursion! Just make sure that they stay on their leash at all times. There's one exception to that rule: Your dog can enjoy some off-leash fun in the resort's on-site dog park! Not only does this allow your pup to get some off-leash exercise, but it also gives them the pawpportunity to make some new friends! Please remember to clean up after your dog, and if you're making use of one of the resort's cabins, remember to let your dog outside frequently! You could be charged if your dog has an accident in the house. (You'll also need to pay a $25 pet fee if you're staying in a cabin.) There's a doggie bath station located near the bark park.

While Redwoods RV Resort does have a lot of awesome amenities, cell phone reception in the campground isn't the best; none of the major carriers get above three bars of service. Don't let that discourage you, though, as wifi is available in all sections of the park. It's offered to you at no extra cost. 

Redwoods RV Resort is a beautiful campground that's suited for all types of campers, whether you prefer the luxury of an RV or the ruggedness of a tent. Have a furrific time!
