TwentyNine Palms Resort: RV Park-Cottages-Golf

Known as the gateway to both Joshua Tree National Park and the Twentynine Palm Marine Base, the Twentynine Palms RV Resort and Cottages campground is an ideal spot for folks (and their pups) who want a cozy RV park with plenty of accommodations. This spot is ideal for folks who don't necessarily want to ruff it in nature alone but also aren't looking for the ritzy and glamorous features that a resort might have.

At this park, you're able to rent cozy desert cottages, park and use your own rig, or even rent out a tent camping site if you and your pooch want to be a little more rugged. The options are endless! As far as accommodations go, every RV site (all 136 back in sites and 32 pull-through sites) offers full hook-ups, sewer, water, and more (they even have room for big rigs!). The park itself is packed with tons of fun amenities that everyone can use, no matter if you're a tent camper, an RV goer, or a cottage renter. However, pets aren't allowed in the cottages.

On-site, you can enjoy an indoor pool and spa, a fitness center, a clubhouse for all kinds of group activities, golfing, field trips, laundry facilities, a store, and more! Your doggo can even join you on this Cali adventure; just remember that because there are no off-leash areas, your pup will have stay on their leash at all times. As we said before, this is truly the gateway to Joshua Tree National Park, but the location is also conveniently near some of California's greatest features. Not only are you just 2 miles (that's right, only 2 miles) from Joshua Tree National Park, you're also close to other natural wonders like the Oasis of Mara, the Barker Dam, and tons of awesome trails to hike and bike, as well as indoor wonders like observatories, museums, and art galleries!
