Twin Points

Twin Points is a gorgeous lakeside campground offering summertime activities like swimming and fishing. Guests with dogs will have a field day exploring more than 6,000 acres of forests and prairie lands that surround the area, while families will appreciate the modern amenities and children's activities that Twin Points offers. Leashes are a must both in and around the campground region, so make sure you come prepared if your dog is making the trip.

Camping is quite straightforward here, with 49 electric sites for a nightly rate of $20. Newly built showers and restrooms are adjacent to these areas, as well as access to drinking water. Guests are urged by Twin Points to bring a garden hose, as water taps are shared. 

You'll find plenty of fun activities to enjoy right on-site. The kids can play the day away on the playground, or you can em-bark on a family-friendly boating adventure on the lake! Guests note that this campground is especially pawpular on weekends, so if you're looking for some solitude, you might be better off booking a stay for a weekday.

If you've made the decision to pack up your pooch for the trip to Twin Points and they're in desperate need of some exercise, the entire region is pawfect for a Fido-friendly adventure! Hikers who decide to stick around the adjacent Skiatook Lake will find several rocky outcrops and vantage points where they can snap a few photos and take in this beautiful part of the Oklahoma backcountry. Guests who venture away from the lake will be surrounded by forests of old growth hickory trees among other notable plant species.

While dogs are welcome in these primitive areas around Twin Points, it's crucial that owners clean up any messes dropped on the ground as they explore the varied terrain in and around the campground.
