RV sites are set up with full hookups, including 50-amp electric and cable TV, and the resort also offers free WiFi. Guests remark that paved concrete sites are level, clean, and spacious, and they also appreciate the paved roads around the grounds. There's a sparkling clean bathhouse and laundry room at the resort, and you'll also find community fire pits around campsites. The resort has a brand new fitness facility, as well as a delightful clubhouse where you can relax or ask the friendly staff about things to do in the area.

The luxurious pool at the resort is a pawpular draw for guests, as is the private lake you can use for fishing (but keep in mind, it's catch-and-release!). The resort is just across from the Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino and Hotel, as well as several other nearby attractions. Guests can choose from wine tours, horseback riding, or golfing at one of two local courses, or visiting downtown Murphy, where you'll find unique shops and restaurants. If you'd like to make a day trip, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just a two-hour drive from the resort, and there, you can hike, bike, or picnic!

Standard sites begin at $56 per night, waterfront back-in sites at $58, and premium pull-through RV sites start at $60 per night. Valley River RV Resort often runs promotional campaigns and holiday deals, so be sure to ask about these when you book!
