Redwoods and Oceans and Camping, oh my! The Village Camper Inn RV Park is the must-stay place if you're looking to explore the gems of California in your RV! With old-growth forests and wild coastal beaches just a short drive away from this campground (and the luxuries and conveniences of Crescent City just a few minutes away as well), you're truly getting the best of everything at the Village Camper Inn RV Park. A forested setting, this campground gives you and your pup a taste of nature -- without getting too ruff in the wild. That being said, if you and your pooch do want to try your hand (or paws) at real camping, this RV park has plenty of tent camping sites to choose from, too. Nightly rates start at $42.50.
The RV park has tons of modern amenities, full hookups for the RV spaces, and even tiny vacation cabins if you're interested in settling in a different sort of space for the night (or the week). As for the sites, there are over 130 full hookup sites for RVs and 20 camping sites that include fun amenities like concrete patios, fire rings, options for wooded or sunny spots, and picnic tables. As far as the rest of the park goes, you can enjoy laundry rooms, a pickle ball court, a horseshoe pit, and even an RV supply purchasing area. Your pup can join you at this park, but make sure they're always under control and on a leash!Â
The biggest draw to this campground is its location. Not only are you smack dab between gorgeous California features like the giant Redwoods and the ruggedly beautiful coasts of the Pacific Ocean, you're also close to tons of great indoor attractions like the Ocean World Aquarium or the Battery Point Lighthouse and Museum, wildlife refuges for hiking and bird watching, and even the gorgeous, free-flowing Smith River for kayaking, swimming, and fishing (the last major free-flowing river in California!).
