Wagon Wheel RV Resort and Campground is a public, amenity-laden campground tucked away in the wooded Pine Park area of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The campground sits in a central location surrounded by tall pine groves, and it is conveniently situated close to a multitude of attractions and activities. The Dunegrass Golf Club and the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society Museum are both located under three miles away, and kid favorites such as Funtown Splashtown, Pirate’s Cove, and Palace Playland are also within three miles. However, you don’t need to leave the campground to have a good time. The campground’s hosts organize daily crafts, games, and other planned activities for kids to enjoy. Plus, there is a playground, two swimming pools, and a game room to keep the little campers entertained. 

The campground offers tent and RV sites, as well as vacation rentals that include one or two bedroom deluxe cottages that can sleep between 2 and 8 people depending on the cabin. The cabins are pet-friendly, but a pet fee applies; contact the resort directly for more details. The tent sites are grassy and come equipped with fire rings and picnic tables. The RV sites are gravel and either back-in or pull-through. They have 15, 30, and 50 amp connections available as well as full hookup services. RV campers will also find their own picnic tables and fire rings, as well as cable tv and wifi access all within the starting price of $38 per site.
