Wild Acres RV Resort & Campground

Right on Maine's coast within walking distance of the stunning and renowned Old Orchard Beach is where you'll find Wild Acres RV Resort and Campground. 

When it comes to accommodations, you can choose to sleep in a tent, travel camper, or cabin. RV sites start at $59 per night and have a maximum length of 50 feet. Sites are both pull-through and back-in, with full hookup services and 20, 30, or 50 amp electric. Tent sites are primitive, giving you and Fido the chance to "ruff" it under the stars together. All sites come with a picnic table and fire ring. Cabin rentals are also available, but a pet cleaning fee of $150 applies if you choose to stay in a cabin with your pooch.

Wild Acres is dog-friendly, with no restrictions on breed or size. The campground does come equipped with a dog walk area that's pawfect for exercise and socialization. Keep in mind that your pup needs to stay on a leash at all times. You're also expected to clean up after them and help keep the park pristine for all guests to enjoy.

The resort offers approximately 30 acres of undeveloped wilderness, so your pup will have plenty to see, do, and sniff. Multiple nature trails zigzag through the park, leading guests along wooded paths where you'll likely encounter the abundant wildlife in the area. The nature trails are maintained and suitable for both novice hikers and their sidekicks. 

For other recreation opportunities, check out the 18-hole miniature golf course, a great place to perfect your putting skills. Another unique feature of this campground is the Aerial Adventure Course full of high ropes and zip-lining activities for those who live for thrill and excitement. There are also four pools and three hot tubs you can swim or relax in, giving you variety and choice. For anglers, there's a fully stocked fishing pond. There's also a BMX bike track full of twists and turns, an on-site store, games room, playground, and even shuttle services bringing you to the beach if the pools aren't enough for you.
