Wild Duck Adult Campground & RV Park

Wild Duck Adult Campground and RV Resort is located in Scarborough, Maine, right beside the Scarborough Marsh. The campground welcomes both tent and RV campers and promises guests a relaxing, peaceful vacation free of city noise and children!

At Wild Duck, you’ll find 70 campsites, the majority of which are for RVs and can accommodate large rigs. These sites all come with full hookups, including water electricity and sewage. All RV sites also have wireless internet and free cable. Campsites for tents are limited, with only 15 sites available, 8 of which have no utilities and five of which come with electric. Rates range between $45 to $75 during the summer season. Day passes can be purchased by visitors for $5, with visiting hours ending at 9:00 PM.

Wild Duck Campground is a dog-friendly location, with restrictions. Campers planning on staying in an RV are free to bring their pooch, as long as they remain on a leash at all times. Guests are also reminded to tidy up any mess made by their pup to ensure a clean campground for everyone. Dogs are allowed to accompany guests to the Scarborough Marsh, which is the perfect place to experience nature with your pooch. However, dogs are not allowed in the tent area.

While visiting Wild Duck, you're free to venture through the waterways within the Scarborough Marsh on a canoe or kayak. If you don't have your own, you can rent one from the campground. There's also a boat dock for your convenience. The marsh encompasses over 3,000 acres of marshland, making it the largest saltwater marsh found within the state of Maine. Within the marsh, you will find various self-guided trails for hiking that are pet-friendly. You can also enjoy fishing on the Scarborough River. The only restriction with dogs regarding the marsh is they are not to ride in canoes.

Back at the campground, you can relax while taking advantage of the perks offered in the park. Laundry services are available as well as a clean bathhouse with showers is offered for guests. Taking part in the outdoor games and activities or having a campfire are other options.
