California’s Wild Horse Equestrian Family Campground is the perfect place to bring both your horse and pooch. This campground's secluded location nestled within the San Bernardino National Forest makes it an ideal way for you to get back to nature.
At this campground, you'll find group sites starting at $31 per night. All sites require a horse to accompany campers, but dogs are welcome too as long as they remain on leash and are tidied up after. There are a total of 11 group sites intended for 8 to 16 guests, and each site receives assigned corrals for horses upon arrival. The corrals are for single use and are all 12 square feet. Sites can accommodate camping vehicles, such as RVs or pop-up campers, as well as tents. Guests are recommended to use food storage containers, as bears do frequent the area.
Each single site can accommodate up to 2 horses and 2 single-horse corrals. There are three double sites available for larger groups and more horses. All campsites are shaded and require a minimum stay of two nights (three during holidays). Campfire rings aren’t at available at individual campsites -- rather, there are group campfire rings that guests have access to.
When it comes to meeting the needs of your horse, Wild Horse Equestrian Family campground has it all. At the campground, you'll find a horse watering station, a mounting station, and hitching racks. There is also a variety of trails for you to explore with your horses as well as your pooch.
