This pawesome neighborhood park is about three acres. Not only is it a gathering place for your friends, families, and coworkers, but it is also a place where groups gather for sporting events, BBQs, and picnics, as well as fundraisers and other venues.
Your furry friend is definitely welcome to explore this green space with you as long as you keep them on a leash. You should also make sure your doggo has all their shots and can get along well with other dogs and humans.
There's plenty of things to do at the 29th and Chalmers Park for everyone, including your two-legged kids if you have any. There are two large playgrounds with equipment, slides, swings, and a jungle gym as well as a basketball court, baseball and football fields, tennis courts, and plenty of room to run. The grass is well-maintained, and there are lots of large trees around for shade, with benches in strategic spots for your convenience. Take a leisurely stroll with your pup throughout the grassy areas.
There are restrooms available, and the 29th and Chalmers Park is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The park provides quite a few trash cans for you to dispose of whatever your pooch tries to leave behind. Be sure to bring your own baggies though, because 29th and Chalmers Park does not provide any. Bring along water as well to share with your pooch.
