You can find this fully fenced pupperdise inside Seger Park, right next to the playground. With a double-gated entry, you can feel safe, and a small and timid dog section is pawfect for the little canines in your life. With a mulch terrain that's easy on the paws, your pup can romp and play with other furiendly canines. Most of the space is open, and there's often tennis balls for all to use.
Benches make great spots to relax and keep an eye on all the pooch action, and a dog water fountain helps keep all the fun-loving pups hydrated. In the summer, there's trees for shade, and sometimes a sprinkler to keep them cool too! On site clean-up bags and trash cans make it easy to pick up whatever your pup leaves behind. Bathrooms for the humans can be found inside the white building that is open seasonally.
Paid parking is right across the street if its too far to walk, and the dog park is open 24 hours a day! However, do note that once the sun goes down, there's only a bit of light from the adjacent playground to light your way. Even though entry is free for this puptastic park, it is funded and maintained solely by volunteers and members. Membership is not required, but encouraged to help pay for new mulch, clean-up bags, events and general maintenance, and keeps this park fun for everyone! An annual household membership is $50, or $25 for seniors and students, is tax-deductible, and gives you pet-related discounts.
If you enjoy this dog park, visit during one of their annual events, such as Santa Paws, Howl-o-ween, Woofstock concerts and more! Do be sure your dog is fully vaccinated and wearing their current city license tag before visiting though.
For a furbulous day in sunny Philly, bring your social pup for a visit to Seger Dog Park!
