Entrance to Manayunk Dog Park is free of charge. Unfortunately, there are no bathroom facilities for public use on the premises. A dog bone-shaped community water bowl is installed on the property; however, there isn't a water source on the grounds. It is suggested that owners carry a bottle of water with them as well as a suitable drinking vessel to ensure that Fido's hydration needs are met.Â
Also included on the premises for Fido's enjoyment are two fire hydrants. Visitors to this public doggy play haven remark that the play runs are largely comprised of dirt. During inclement weather, dogs may become quite dirty. With this in mind, it is wise for all owners to bring a towel with them to help remove excess dirt prior to allowing Fido access to their vehicle for the drive home.Â
It is unknown if poop bags are provided on the premises. However, it is the responsibility of all owners to assist park officials in preserving the cleanliness of the grounds by picking up and properly disposing of all canine waste. Though no other officially posted rules govern the use of this public space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations and bear the appropriate required state license tag. For a fun afternoon in great natural setting, make a visit to Manayunk Dog Park!Â
