The Andover Dog Park offers an acre of fun for your pooch. Here Scruffy can run up a ramp and play freely in this fenced-in area. Members of the community worked hard to make this doggy playground a reality. Now your furry pal can socialize, roll around, and more.
As of now, there is no separate space for small dogs, so Scruffy will have to mingle with pooches of all sizes. Note that the community is always trying to improve this park, and they’re continually adding to it. So be aware that it's sometimes closed for maintenance. There are poo bags available, but watch your step because some visitors don't pick up after their pooch.
There are doggy bowls available, but visitors need to haul in their own water. The good news: humans can relax on one of the many park benches. Furbabies can also enjoy some shady areas while venturing off-leash. Does Scruffy love to dig? No worries, this dog park mostly consists of sand, so your canine can dig away. Visitors will enjoy the wooded landscape of this park and picturesque views of towering trees within.
Dog owners should also note the rules posted at the entrance, which include bringing proof of a rabies vaccination, only allowing dogs in with an excellent temperament, and cleaning up after your pooch. Visitors will like the high gates surrounding the doggy area and the double gates when entering the park.
Scruffy can either play fetch or take advantage of the agility course obstacles scattered around the park. Scruffy can even hop up on various platforms that sit in the sand. If Scruffy loves to run, dig, and show off some doggy talent on an agility course, then visit the newly renovated Andover Dog Park in Andover, Massachusetts. This park will provide doggy masters a chance to paws and let Scruffy run loose.
