Andover Dog Park

Lucky dogs in Andover are barking about the Andover Dog Park! Located near the Bald Hill conservation area, the dog park offers pups a pawfect getaway amidst the trees to ditch the leash and run wild!

With a small parking area that also services the trail found here, the dog park is fully fenced in and features a double-gated entry for extra security. Keep that leash on when entering or exiting the dog area, but once inside, you can let your dog romp freely. The park is one large area without any small dog section, so be sure your tiny pup can handle running with the big dogs. 

Picnic tables and benches offer central locations to keep an eye on all the canine action. Whether your dog loves to run, chase dog pals, or test their agility skills, they will love this park. A small agility course is on site, and includes poles for weaving, a ramp and even a tire to run through. And with a dirt terrain covered in soft sand, its easy on the paws too! Be careful on wet days, though, as the park can get muddy. It's a good idea to have a towel in the car for a quick wipe down before the drive home. 

Surrounded by acres and acres of trees, the park's tranquil setting can be quite relaxing. If your dog gets enough socialization, but still has some energy to spare, clip the leash back on and hike the Bald Hill Dog Run Trail found right by the dog park. While short, the trail connects to other trails inside the Bald Hill area that your pup would love to explore.

Before visiting, be sure your dog is current on their vaccinations and license, and wearing their tags on their collars. Clean-up mitts and a trash can are available to make it easy to promptly pick up after your dog. Keep all food out of the dog park, and always fill in any holes your dog may dig before leaving.
