Though the enclosure is a designated off-leash zone, owners are asked to retain a lead with them at all times. Dogs are required to remain on lead in all other areas of the park and when traveling to and from the enclosure. To provide the best traction and to discourage injuries, the park surface is lined with gravel.Â
Though access to this public space is free of charge, it is suggested that all visitors to the park contribute a $30 yearly donation to allow for park upgrades, maintenance, and renovations. There are no bathrooms provided on site for public use. However, water is available on the premises to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his day at the park. Also provided on-site are poop bags to assist owners with picking up and properly disposing of canine waste materials as mandated by state law.Â
