Ronan Dog Park

Ronan Dog Park is located in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Nominated as one of Boston's Best Dog Parks in 2016, this dedicated dog facility offers one fully fenced area suitable for off-leash play. The enclosure measures 6,000 square feet, providing ample space for Fido to run, play, and roughhouse with his favorite canine pals. It is unknown if there is a section reserved specifically for small dog use at this doggy play haven. 

Though the enclosure is a designated off-leash zone, owners are asked to retain a lead with them at all times. Dogs are required to remain on lead in all other areas of the park and when traveling to and from the enclosure. To provide the best traction and to discourage injuries, the park surface is lined with gravel. 

Though access to this public space is free of charge, it is suggested that all visitors to the park contribute a $30 yearly donation to allow for park upgrades, maintenance, and renovations. There are no bathrooms provided on site for public use. However, water is available on the premises to help keep Fido well-hydrated during his day at the park. Also provided on-site are poop bags to assist owners with picking up and properly disposing of canine waste materials as mandated by state law.

Visitors to this space remark on the property's pristine beauty and stunning landscape design. Though there are no official posted rules regarding the use of this idyllic dog-friendly space, it is highly recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations. In addition to this, it is advisable for all dogs to bear the appropriate required state license tags on their collars.
