Atlantic Beach Dog Park
The dog park itself surrounds a sizable swimming pond for ultimate pup splashing fun, a unique feature that not all dog parks offer. There is a path in the grass around the pond for walks or games of chase, and plenty of trees to provide shade on sunny days. They park also provides a small, separate gated area for smaller canines so everyone can play with an equal size, although small pups are allowed in with the big dogs if they are feeling mighty! There is also drinking water available for both your pup and yourself when you need to cool down, although there are no restrooms, so plan accordingly.
Other pawrific amenities include a dog rinsing station in case Fido gets too messy! You will find clean up bags dispensers and trash cans, making waste disposal a breeze. And of course, there are benches and a gazebo for owners to relax on while watching their furry besties romp it up!
The dog park itself does require a membership that is available at City Hall, and you will need a record of vaccinations and spay or neuter. If you are just visiting, you can pay for just a day at a rate of $10. If you decide that multiple trips to this fun spot are in order, annual memberships are $50. This pawsome park is open daily from 7:30 am til dusk, meaning there's lots of time for pups to live it up leash free at the most furrific place in town, the Atlantic Beach Dog Park! Come on by!
