With an off-leash pooch playground just outside their house, daily exercise is no problem at all for Sandoval's four-legged residents. What lucky dogs!

The developer of Sandoval didn't scrimp on the amenities for its residents, and they made sure that its furry dwellers weren't left out, either. Barkley Park, the residents-only dog park, sits off of the beautifully landscaped Sandoval Boulevard and next to Calypso Park. Here, you and Fido will find two separate sections for large and small canines, both of which are fully fenced and double gated for your pup's safety. If your pooch weighs less than 25 pounds, it's recommended that they go into the small dog side. Either way, Fido will have a furrific time sniffing and sprinting around this grassy dog park. Bring a ball or frisbee to throw as well—there's certainly enough room for a game of fetch!

Barkley Park features woofderful views, shade trees, pet waste stations, a water hose, and benches for the humans. On hot days, pups can cool off in the small bone-shaped pool. The dog park is also a great spot for meeting your neighbors, but remember to keep an eye on your charge at all times. Don't forget to stoop and scoop when your pooch heeds the call of nature!

Before bringing your furry friend to the dog park, make sure they're current on their license and all vaccinations. Keep in mind that they must stay on an 8-foot leash once they set paw outside the off-leash area.
