Brighten up your dog’s day with a trip to Bayou Gulch Dog Park. Located inside Bayou Gulch Regional Park, it’s the pawfect spot to let your beloved pooch run wild. So pack up your pup and head on over!
Bayou Gulch Dog Park is fully fenced and has
double-gated entries for safety. To keep the two acre park fresh, the play area
is rotated between two sections. For the most part, the ground is covered with
grass and dirt, but there is also a rather large area of cement. There aren’t
many trees, which means there is little shade. It also means the field is wide
open for running. Your pooch will be in heaven as they scamper around. Bring
their favorite ball for a game of fetch. Or let them romp and wrestle with new
furry playmates. No matter what they do, your fur baby will have a woofing good
Douglas County law states that an owner who
does not pick up after their dog can be fined $50. Keep your trip to the park
inexpensive by picking up whatever your pup puts down. To make doggy debris pick
up easy, the park provides clean up bags. As for pet parents, there is a
portable toilet located onsite. And thirsty pups will be glad to know water is available.
When your pal is finished playing, clip on
their leash and stop by the main area of Bayou Gulch Regional Park. Not only
does the park have ballfields and a playground, it also has over five miles of
trails. Some of the trails are natural surfaced and some are paved pathways. Take
a stroll with your pupster so they can cool down after playing. They’ll
appreciate the extra exercise!
Make no mistake, your pup will go mutts over
Bayou Gulch Dog Park!
