There are picnic tables available here, they have running water in the form of a hose, and plenty of seating for the patrons of the park. Be sure to bring your dog bowl if your canine does not like drinking from flowing water. Above the picnic tables, there is a beautiful and high canopy from the trees, which provide shade to the patrons of the park.
The high canopy on the trees means they will not likely interfere and you could throw for a long way, giving your canine such much-needed exercise. Beatrice Dog Park is grassed and stays relatively well maintained. Doggie bags are available at the entrance, and there is a garbage can there for you to dispose of your canines waste on your way out of the park. There is a lot of space here making it ideal for some long-range games like frisbee or fetch.
This is a park where games like this can wear you and your dog out. However, the Beatrice Dog Park could do more for its visitors. There are no public restrooms available for you if you come. It is also relatively little for your canine to interact with at this park, no water fixtures, and no agility equipment.
However, for a publically funded park, there is a great deal of space, vast open grassy fields, and a right amount of shade at this park. It holds an excellent location and can be reached easily. This is a gorgeous park to spend the day with your canine.
