Beaver Ranch Dog Park - Conifer

Beaver Ranch Dog Park is a public dog park located in Conifer, Colorado. This beautiful, quiet dog park is run by volunteers so even though the entrance is free, $1 donations are encouraged and appreciated as they help maintain the park’s grounds. The off-leash dog park is located at the top of the Tipi Loop Trail which is one of the many trails that run through the 450-acre Beaver Ranch Community Park.

The securely-fenced dog park is approximately 1.5-acres in size and offers two separate areas for dogs to freely run around and explore in. The first enclosure accommodates small dog breeds while the other is meant for larger hounds. Both areas are set in a sloped, wooded area so there is plenty of shade and nature for canines to enjoy. The 5-foot fence ensures that no dogs or tennis balls escape during playtime and allows owners to feel safe about their furball’s whereabouts during the visits. There are also benches, picnic tables and running water (available during the summer season) so make sure to bring a bowl for your pooch.

The mountain setting of this dog park allows dogs to get some off-leash exercise in a safe yet natural, ungroomed and tree-covered environment while their owners enjoy the peace and quiet. The only downside of this great park is that it is quite empty most of the time, so if you’re looking for socialization for your pup this might not be the best place for you unless you come during the peak hours on the weekends. However, if you just want to make sure that your dog gets enough off-leash exercise or want to hike with your dog on-leash, this is the perfect place for it. This sloped park is also very clean thanks to its bark-covered surface and free dog waste bag dispensers.
