Beaver State Park

In Oklahoma, Beavers Bend State Park has something for everyone. Vacationers are flocking to the area from all over the southern U.S. With over 3,400 acres and a variety of different outdoor activities that change throughout the year, visitors to Beavers Bend State Park will find plenty to enjoy and engage in, both on land and in the water, and plenty of room to explore.

Beavers Bend State Park has camping, fishing, hiking, boating, swimming, and even an on-site golf course, tennis court, and more. The park has a 26-mile trail to hike and 180 miles of shoreline along the 14,220-surface-acre lake. The park offers rentals for horses, several types of boats and water vehicles including kayaks, canoes, jet skis, paddleboats, pontoons, houseboats, and tubes. 

Other activities include tennis, volleyball, and mini golf. The park offers an amphitheater, shopping, and a restaurant. There is a nature center that has a naturalist and a number of educational programs year-round. Additionally, there are guided horseback rides and hay rides throughout the park.

Admission to the park is free. For overnight visits, camping fees start at $14. There are pet-friendly cabins, RV sites with full hookups, and regular tent sites. Reservations can be made in advance for some facilities. Contact the park office for specific rates, discounts, and reservation information.

In Oklahoma State Parks, pets are allowed but must be leashed at all time, with a leash no longer than 10 feet long. Pets cannot be left unattended. Bring waste bags and always remember to clean up after your pet. Be respectful of park rules and other park visitors; do not let your pet become a nuisance by barking excessively or disturbing wildlife.
