Pebbles wants to dig, run around, and catch some rays, so why not take her to the Mustang Dog Park in Mustang, Oklahoma? Part of the extravagant Wild Horse Park, this fenced-in doggy getaway provides access to pavilions, playgrounds, a pond, aquatic center, and more within the 158-acre Wild Horse Park.Â
You and Pebbles can spend a whole day attending this massive park that has pet-friendly amenities. Pebbles will love her separate space for small dogs and the water fountains on the premises. However, sometimes these fountains are out of order, so bring some water from home as a backup.
Pebbles will have a blast showing her skills on the agility course, and then she can soak in the doggy pool. Unlike some other parks that don’t allow toys, this one has a toy bin, so you can borrow a tennis ball and entertain Pebbles with fetch.Â
You can sit on benches and bleachers, and there’s a bathroom too, but it’s a Port-a-Potty, so you might want to take care of your business before you go. Visitors rave about the high fence, so your jumping Pebbles will not escape. You'll also be grateful for the shady trees.
Be warned that the park is trying to take care of a burdock problem, so you might have to pick a few out of Pebble’s paws. And wear a shirt and shoes when you attend the park because that’s one of the rules.
You should also keep these other rules in mind: clean up Pebble’s poop, don’t bring more than three dogs, watch your pooch at all times, close the double gate after entering and leaving, and understand that you are liable for any injuries.
Pebbles loves to dig, and she can do that here, but another rule requires you to fill in her trenches. Overall, this park will provide Pebbles with a fun space to play, and it will allow you to paws and breathe in some well-deserved fresh air. Have fun!
