This ten-acre recreational center finds its home along the banks of a river and serves as a memorial of Joliet's very first city street. Though not a dedicated dog park, this pawsitively awesome pawblic facility welcomes dogs with both paws! Just be sure to keep Fido on his leash at all times. 

One thing that Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park has lots of is lush grassy spaces. These spots are a furrific place for a vigorous run, a game of fetch, or even just a picnic on the grounds. You'll want to be certain to pack a bag that includes all of the wooftastic things you will need for your day of park fun including bottled water, some snacks, cleanup bags, and maybe even a favorite toy or two! 

Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park also boasts a theatre, an open air bandshell, and even a stage. Here, the park hosts lots of different free performances throughout the summer months. Fido may join you for one of these pawrific outdoor concerts but just be careful that he doesn't try to don his best singing voice and howl along! The musicians find that rather distracting.
