Orland Park pups who love to run free are barking about the Dogout Dog Park! Located inside the large Centennial Park, this pup play space is sure to get that tail wagging!
With a baseball theme, the Dogout offers everything you could ask for in an off leash dog park. Sprawling over 3-acres, this pupperdise features separate areas for large pooches, and small doggos that are 30 lbs. and under. There's also separate areas with agility equipment if you've got a sporty pooch. All enclosures are fully fenced, and double-gated for extra security.
Plenty of seating is available for the pawrents, and shade structures give everyone a place to take a break from the sun. And with drinking fountains for people and pups, everyone can stay hydrated too! Conveniently placed dog waste bag dispensers make it a breeze to keep the space tidy by promptly picking up after your dog.
A variety of events are hosted in the dog park throughout the year, such as the Dog Out Easter Egg Hunt or the Boo at the Dogout Dog Park for Halloween. These events are usually free and welcome the entire community to participate and enjoy the park’s facilities.
Access to this furbulous dog park is through membership only, which covers the cost of maintenance and all the great amenities found here. For residents, an annual membership costs $30 for the first dog, and $10 for additional dogs in the same household. For non-residents, membership is a bit more at $85, and $15 for each additional dog. You'll also need to provide your dog's vaccination record.
