Bremen Grove Dog Park is a beautiful, seven-acre dog park located in Tinley Park, Illinois. Though the park is not open to everyone and you have to pay an annual fee to belong, according to its patrons it is definitely worth the investment. The fees vary depending on whether you are a Cook County Resident or not and can be found on the park’s official website.
The massive, fenced park is divided into two, off-leash areas that are labeled. One area is for the smaller dog breeds and the other one is for the bigger pooches. Both provide plenty of open space for canines to explore, enjoy the greenery and natural landscaping, and run around with their four-legged friends. The park is very well planned and consists of both groomed and ungroomed areas for canines to discover, sniff around and play in. It is filled with lush bushes and mature trees that provide plenty of shade.
What’s more, the dog park is connected to 33 miles of trails. If your furball needs more exercise or has a surplus of energy, you can always walk the trails together before coming to the dog park, as long as he’s leashed. There are benches, picnic tables, trash cans, and waste bag dispensers in both off-leash areas. Water fountains are also available for both dog owners and their four-legged family members to enjoy. Though not ideal, there are portable restrooms nearby.
The park is very clean, well-maintained, and provides a natural, safe environment for canines and their owners to enjoy. With a wide variety of dog regulars, it is easy to make friends and get familiar with the other dog owners in the community. This hidden gem is located approximately 100 yards down the path from the parking lot, so make sure not to miss it.
