Biscuit Acres Bark Park (at Hunter Park)

Biscuit Acres Park is a public dog park located in the Hunter Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In addition to the dog park, the 71-acre Hunter Park features basketball courts, sheltered picnic areas, playgrounds, walking and jogging trails, a large fishing pond, and public restrooms. 

The highly rated two-and-a-half acre dog park was opened in June 2009 and had since become a very popular destination for the dog owners in the community. It is securely fenced and has five double-gated entrances, which helps minimize the risk of canines slipping out as other patrons enter the off-leash area. 

The dog park overlooks a beautiful lake and is surrounded by stunning scenery which is why it is loved by the owners as much as their four-legged companions. It has a well-thought-out layout that is made up of two separate areas for dogs to roam around in. One area is meant for dogs under 30 pounds while the other accommodates the larger hounds. 

Both sections have a grass turf and provide plenty of space for pooches to stretch their legs and play. There are bone shaped water fountains, shade structures, benches, and picnic tables in both sections which makes sure that all park visitors remain hydrated, cool, and comfortable. Free waste bag dispensers are also available at the dog park, so please make sure to clean up after your canine companion and help keep this park clean and poop-free. 

Parking is directly located by the dog park, and even on the more crowded days, there is always a free parking spot available. Restrooms can be found by the tennis courts which are down just a trail away. This wonderful, well-kept park is ranked in the top 30 best parks in the United States and it is a definite must-visit, especially since the regular patrons are incredibly welcoming and accommodating!
