For off-leash exercise and play in Seminole, look no further than the Boca Ciega Millennium Dog Park! Located in the Boca Ciega Millennium Park on the Boca Ciega Bay, this canine hangout is a furrific spot for Fido to blow off steam and meet new friends!
Covering 1.5 acres in the western part of the park next to the playground equipment, the dog park consists of two separate areas for large and small canines. This allows petite pooches to safely play on one side while the big guys ruffhouse on the other side. Both sections are fully fenced, covered with grass, and have plenty of trees for shade. There's even an obstacle course in the small dog area for canines who wish to pawfect their skills. Whether your pup is training to become the next agility superstar or running carefreely alongside their four-legged friends, be sure to actively supervise them at all times.
Help keep the dog park clean by picking up whatever Fido puts down right away. It is unknown if doggie waste bags are supplied, so don't forget to stuff a few into your pockets before leaving the house. Fresh water is always available, and there are doggie showers for rinsing off your pooch in case they need a bath after romping around. Caveat: visitors say that the area can get muddy during the rainy season, so be prepared for a dirty pup if you swing by after a downpour.
