The lake offers a boat launch and boat rentals from the park office. During winter months, the park has 13 miles of designated cross-country skiing and snowmobiling trails.
For overnight guests, the park offers cabins and a limited number of campsites seasonally. Campsites do not include any electricity or water hookups. Bowman Lake State Park is open year-round from dawn to dusk. The camping season typically spans from mid-May to early October. Swimming and boat rentals are also seasonal. The limit is two pets per campsite, and always clean up after yourself and your pet. Bring waste bags and plenty of food and water. You should also make sure you have current proof of rabies vaccination, and never bring unvaccinated puppies, females in heat, aggressive dogs, or dogs who bark excessively.Â
