Dogs living in Dunwoody are lucky to have access to the Brook Run Dog Park. This furrific off leash area is located inside Brook Run Park, and features plenty of room to run, lots of pawsome playmates, and is full of trees. Pack up your pup and head over for a puptacular off leash adventure!
The Brook Run Dog Park sprawls across three acres of
land. Pups must be leashed when entering and exiting the dog park. The off
leash area is fully fenced and has a double gate entry to make sure there are
no four legged escapees. Once your pooch is inside, they can ditch their leash
and run wild! They'll love romping around and making new friends. The dog park is nestled inside a woofderful wooded area. Not only
will your pooch have plenty of trees to sniff (and mark), they will also
enjoy shade from the canopy during the warm summer months. As they weave around
the trees, your pup can search for the pawfect stick or catch the scent of the
small critters.
The park has a couple drinking fountains just for dogs,
so make sure your pal takes some water breaks. Please note humans need to bring
their own water. There are also several waste stations with clean up bags and
garbage cans. Don’t forget to pick up whatever
your pup puts down. One of the best things about this park is the network of walking
trails. While your pup is busy playing, you can get some exercise. Just be sure
to keep an eye on your furry BFF at all times. Human food and dog food are not
allowed inside the off leash area, however, there are picnic tables available just
outside the entrance gate.
No bones about it, your pup will go mutts over Brook Run
Park Dog Park!
