If your canine pal has plenty of energy to spare, let them dash, sprint, and run it all off at the Broomfield County Commons Dog Park! Located in the northwestern portion of the 300-acre Broomfield County Commons Park, this puppy playground provides a safe, fenced-in environment for high-energy doggos to blow off steam. It's also a great place for social barkterflies to make new friends. In other words, this furrific site is not to be missed!
The Broomfield County Commons Dog Park is divided into two separate areas for big and small pooches. Both sides contain ample space for stretching one's legs and getting all the wiggles out, even for large and active canines. Aside from the wide, open space, the park contains natural agility obstacles such as rocks and stumps, as well as seating for humans and doggos alike.
While shade structures and trees are also available, much of the park is exposed, so always keep an eye on your pooch and make sure they don't get too hot. Offer water and bring them to a shady spot to cool off if needed. Stopping by when the sun isn't too strong is another option. Furtunately, the dog park opens early and closes late, accommodating a wide range of schedules.
Always stoop and scoop if Fido goes to the bathroom—doggie waste bags are provided for your convenience. It's impawtant to note that drinking water for the pups is available seasonally, so bring your own jugs if you're visiting between October 16 and April 14. You might also want to have a few wet wipes handy; since the surface is all dirt and no grass, you will likely end up with a dusty dog when it's time to go home.
No doubt about it, your furry BFF will love doing laps around the spacious Broomfield County Commons Dog Park!
