It is a breeze to find just off Caney Road at the intersection between Caney and Brookwood. Please do keep Fido leashed when not inside the dog play areas where off-leash activity is permitted.

One of the spacious runs is reserved for use by the littlest doggoes who enjoy a gentler style of play more appropriate to their size and personality. Park officials do ask that if your dog is in the play areas that you remain within the fence boundaries to help supervise your dog at play. 

Be sure to tote along some drinking water as Fido is sure to work up a furrific thirst. Since all owners are required to clean up after their dogs, you'll need some bags from home to assist you with waste pickup and disposal. In addition to this, all doggoes enjoying the play spaces much be current on vaccinations and in possession of a city dog license. No smoking or eating is permitted in the play zones. 

Caney Creek Preserve itself offers lots of doggone great things for you and your leashed canine pal to do. You can roam through the 1.2 miles of trails which travel through a forested area and allow you to glimpse some of the wildlife in the area. There are also several pavilions which are the pawrfect spot for a packed lunch from home. Caney Creek runs through the middle of the property, giving you a pawsome spot to take a walk and reflect on the beauty of nature all with Fido along for company.
