Canine Cove Dog Park (at Mackle Park)

Canine Cove Dog Park is a public dog park located at the Mackle Park in Marco Island, Florida. In addition to the dog park, the community park is home to a playground, a basketball and volleyball court, shuffleboard, a splash pad, bike trails and a community center with public restrooms. There is also a porta-potty by the dog park which is located directly by the parking lot. 

The one-and-a-half-acre Canine Cove Dog Park at Mackle Park provides plenty of room for dogs to play and exercise off-leash in a safe, double-gated environment. The dog park is conveniently located, has a great layout, and features everything you would want in a dog park, which is why it is a popular destination for dog owners in the community. 

The dog park is well-landscaped and situated in a scenic location that is overlooking a beautiful lake. It is lined with palm trees that make it feel like a tropical resort and provide an ample amount of shade for dogs to cool off in. This great park is divided into two separate areas for dogs to enjoy without a leash. There is a one-and-a-quarter acre area meant for dogs over 25 pounds and a quarter of an acre section for the smaller breeds. 

At Canine Cove Dog Park at Mackle Park, the two dog runs share a fence which means that both types can run along the fence together and chase each other without anyone getting accidentally trampled. The park’s terrain consists of grass and some woodchip areas. The dog park is equipped with water fountains for both dogs and their owners. 

The park features several picnic tables and benches that allow owners to remain comfortable as they watch their pooches play and socialize. Free waste bag dispensers and conveniently placed trash cans are also available and help keep this park well-maintained and poop-fee.
